Publishing your website using MS Front Page
(ON CAMPUS ONLY)


Step by step guide to publishing your website using Microsoft Front Page:
(For Students Only)

STEP 1:
Start MS Front Page either from your local machine or from the Intranet Applications Server (accessible from AUB's home page).

STEP 2:
Open a new web by selecting "Open Web" from the "File" menu.



STEP 3:
Specify the location of the new web. You will be saving it on the server by using the following URL: http://students.aub.edu.lb/~xxx00 (where xxx00 is your AUBnet user name).



STEP 4:
Enter your AUBnet User Name and Password.



STEP 5:
You may now edit your website.

 

STEP 6:
When you complete editing your site, select "Save As" from the "File" menu.

STEP 7:
Save your home page as index.htm.

STEP 8:
Congratulations! Your website is now published to the web. To view it, open Internet  Explorer or Netscape and type in the following URL: http://students.aub.edu.lb/~xxx00 (where xxx00 is your AUBnet user name).
