University Libraries Fair: Going out to the Users

In an effort to increase the visibility of services and resources of the University Libraries, the Information Services Department in conjunction with the Reference Department organized a three-day Orientation Fair (October 14-16, 2008).

Two tables and two bulletin boards were set up with photographs. Brochures were created especially for the occasion, to advertise the variety of services offered. The tables were manned by staff from the Reference and Information Services Departments.

Red and blue pens with the slogans: Research Made Easy@Jafet Library and Ask a Librarian, were also distributed.

Students signed up for library tours, picked up brochures, candies, and met the library staff who offer services that are useful for them.
